on autopilot.

Set up your season once. Tendee chases the weekly confirmations, fills the gaps, and keeps your team chat free for the bants.

Hand off the weekly nag

At the beginning of the season, you pre-fill your attendance for all the dates. This minimizes any surprises so the captain can find subs in advance. Everybody receives an overview a couple days before, which acts as a reminder to update their availability. If there are any last minute changes, the Sub Finder gets to work filling out the team.

That is how Tendee gives captains the confidence they'll have a full team for game day.

Contact Lists

Create lists from your contacts to quickly identify and invite the right people when you need them. Build out your network to recruit in future.

Sub Finder & Waitlist

When someone drops, Tendee lines up the next sub automatically. And if you're oversubscribed, the waitlist fills the next open spot for you.

Owner Controls

Respond on behalf of teammates who are slow to reply, kick off emergency sub recruitment, or share the burden of leadership.

About Tendee

  • Why Tendee?

Once your season is set up, the weekly check-ins, sub requests, and waitlist updates run themselves. You get a clean roster before game day without chasing replies. It is laser focused on attendance and works alongside whatever group chat you have going.

Also, it works in a browser (no app to install), invites can respond with one click (and free!), and there will never be ads (let's be honest, nobody wants that).

  • Can I connect this to my calendar?
Yes! You'll be able to use the generated .ics file to connect to the calendar of your choice.
  • What does it cost?
It's free for the first event you create, a small fee is required beyond that. Check out the available plans.
  • What inspired this project?
On a newly formed volleyball team, I was tired of chasing the group chat every week to figure out who was in and who needed a sub. Tendee was built so nobody has to do that weekly nag again.
  • What's next for Tendee?

Tendee just went through a major overhaul (introducing Sub Finder & the Puffins!) and is trying to find its place in the world.

There is one buried feature: contacts and contact lists. It has potential to become a network of like-minded sport afficiandos itching to play more sports. More on that in future.

  • More questions?
Great! I'm always happy to receive feedback to see how the experience can be improved. Get in touch and you can expect a response within a couple days.
